Ingredients:
2 cups white (or brown sugar)
2 cups of water
Recipe:
Combine sugar and water over medium heat
Cover and let mixture simmer
Whisk occasionally
Turn off heat once sugar mixture has been combined and turns clear.
Let cool and enjoy!
To turn it up a notch, add a cup of fresh fruit to the sugar and water mixture while it's on the stove.
Once combined, drain the fruit with a cheesecloth or strainer.
Simple syrup is good in the fridge for up to a month (if it lasts that long)!
