This refreshing summer drink is delicious on it's own but pairs great with: Peach Crown Royal
Ingredients:
- 3 Lipton Peach Ice Tea bags
- 4 Cups of Water
- 1 lemon
- 2 Tb of Vanilla Simple Syrup
- Glass cup
- A handful of strawberries (optional)
Bring a pot of water, filled with about 4 cups of water (or 3/4 of the way full)
Place 3 tea bags of Lipton Peach Ice Tea inside the boiling water and let brew for 30 minutes to an hour, checking constantly
Now you may discard the tea bags and sweeten to taste (it is important to do sweeten while the tea is still warm)
Allow tea to cool. Once cooled, roll a lemon and cut it in half. Squeeze the lemon halves into the tea.
Stir vigorously to combine flavors
Now the tea mixture can be transferred to a container to store in the fridge.
Enjoy!
Optional: Cut up a few fresh strawberries that have soaked in (brown) sugar
**this isn't mandatory but I like to do this for an extra burst of flavor**
