Spirit of Sapelo (2020)

This photo is part of a limited series, from a weekend work trip I took to Sapelo Island. Sapelo Island, is a remote island off the coast of Savannah, Georgia; and was the first stop for the enslaved Angolans when dropped off during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. The ghost of the slave trade can still felt along the island.
